The puzzle of the landscape, and the layered tropical silhouette is an iconic and beloved image of the Far North Queensland Rainforest. These watercolour series are painted out in the field in an attempt to capture the dreamlike state of light and colour to then take back to the artist's studio for oil and acrylic artworks. Watercolor embraces structural simplicity that embodies movement and life to natural landscape scenes.
